Henry Harland

Henry Harland (born March 1, 1861 in New York , † December 20, 1905 in Sanremo , Italy ) was an American writer and editor.

After training in New York and Harvard , Harland went to Europe as a journalist. There he published novels and short stories under the pseudonym Sidney Luska . He became known as the editor of the English literary magazine The Yellow Book , published from 1894 to 1897 , which articulated the aestheticism and upheaval of the fin de siècle .

In 1898 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Letters .
