Henryk Tajner (* 1958 ) is a former Polish ski jumper .

Career

Tajner, who started for Olimpia Goleszów, made his international debut in March 1973 at the Czech Marusarzówna Memorial in Zakopane . In the youth friendship competition of the socialist countries in Zakopane two years later, he reached the podium for the first time in second behind František Novák and in front of Matthias Buse . At the Junior European Ski Championships in 1976 in Liberec , Tajner took 20th place.

Tajner took part in the Four Hills Tournament three times in the course of his career . On his debut on December 30, 1976 in Oberstdorf , he achieved 67th place. Even in his other participations, he only reached the lower ranks. His best result in the overall ranking is 63rd place in the Four Hills Tournament 1976/77 . In addition, Tajner regularly competed in the Beskydy Tour , where he was able to occupy fourteenth place in the overall ranking in 1978 and 1980 .

On January 26, 1980 Tajner made his debut in Zakopane in the World Cup . Although he jumped directly under the top thirty, he missed the points due to a different FIS point system . About a year later he finished eleventh in his European Cup debut at Le Brassus , with which he won five points.
