Herbert Anker

Herbert Anker (* 1908 in Berlin ; † June 17, 1987 in Comano TI , Ticino , Switzerland ) was a German architect .

biography

Parkhotel Bremen (1951–1954)

Anker grew up in Wilhelmshaven . After an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, he studied at the technical center in Oldenburg . In 1932 he became an employee and from 1938 a partner in the architecture office of Rudolf Jacobs in Bremen , which he continued to manage alone after his death in 1946 until 1971. After the Second World War he was involved in the reconstruction of the Rathsapotheke on Bremen market square , the bank for community services at Domshof and the Parkhotel am Bürgerpark Bremen .
