Herbert Leinkauf

Herbert Leinkauf (born July 18, 1903 in Biskupitz-Borsigwerk , † November 14, 1960 in Hermannsburg ) was a German politician .

Life

Leinkauf studied economics in Breslau and Königsberg . During his studies, he became a member of the Germania Breslau fraternity in 1923 . In 1929 he finished his studies with a degree in economics and then worked for some time in companies in his home country. He became mayor of Gottesberg and later of Heydebreck . In 1931 he became a member of the NSDAP (membership no. 788.306). From 1943 he took an active part in the Second World War and became an American prisoner of war . After the war he founded a drugstore in Sülze and a pharmacy in Hermannsburg. From 1953 to 1954 and from 1955 to 1956 he was district administrator for the district of Celle . He was a member of the GB / BHE , later the CDU . From 1952 to 1960 he was a member of the district council and a member of the Hermannsburg municipal council as well as a member of the board of directors of the Kreissparkasse Celle .
