Herbert Neder

Herbert Neder (born December 11, 1939 in Oberthulba ; † June 23, 2015 there ) was a German politician ( CSU ). Between 1982 and 1990 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . From 1990 to 2002 he was District Administrator of the district Bad Kissingen .

Professional background

After finishing school, Herbert Neder began an agricultural apprenticeship, which he completed with the assistant examination. Between 1965 and 1978 he worked as a full-time federal constituency manager.

In addition, Neder studied theology and religious education for nine trimesters in evening classes at the cathedral school in Würzburg . He finished his studies with the award of the Missio canonica . From 1976 to 1978 he worked part-time as a religion teacher at the Oberthulba secondary school.

Political career

His political career began in 1964 when he joined the CSU. Just two years later he was elected to the town council of the Oberthulba market. In 1972 Neder became honorary mayor of Oberthulba. In the same year he was elected to the district council of the Bad Kissingen district. With the formation of the unified municipality Oberthulba in the course of the Bavarian municipal area reform , Neder became full-time mayor of the market in 1978. He held this office until 1982. Also in 1978 he was elected deputy district administrator for the Bad Kissingen district. Neder held this position until 1984.

In the state election on October 10, 1982 Herbert Neder was elected to the Bavarian state parliament. He was a member of the Bavarian state parliament until 1990.

On May 1st, 1990 he moved back to Lower Franconia and was elected District Administrator of the Bad Kissingen district. He held this office until April 30, 2002.

Herbert Neder was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit for his services on July 17, 2003 by the Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber .

Neder was married and had four children and two grandchildren.
