Thomas Bold

Thomas Bold (* 28. January 1961 in Neuwirtshaus ) is a German politician ( the CSU ), and since 2002 District Administrator of the district Bad Kissingen .

Life

Bold grew up in Neuwirtshaus. He attended the Frobenius-Gymnasium Hammelburg and after graduating from high school did an apprenticeship for the high-level police enforcement service, which he successfully completed after studying at the Bavarian civil service college with a degree in administrative management (FH) . Bold then held various positions in the police department in Eichstätt , Würzburg and Hammelburg .

In 1996 he was elected First Mayor of Wartmannsroth . Since May 3, 2002, Bold has been the district administrator of the Bad Kissingen district. He was re-elected in the 2008 , 2014 and 2020 local elections.

Bold is married and has two children.

In 2013 he and Thomas Habermann were awarded the Bavarian State Medal for special services to the environment .
