Herbert Putnam (athlete)
Herbert Putnam ( Herbert Nathaniel Putnam; born May 7, 1890 in Fredonia , New York , † January 12, 1967 in Geauga County , Ohio ) was an American middle-distance runner .
At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 he was eighth over 800 m and eliminated over 1500 m in the prerun.
