Herbert von Karajan Music Prize
The Herbert von Karajan Music Prize is a by Herbert von Karajan named Music Prize , which for the years 2003 to 2015 the Cultural Foundation of the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden has been awarded annually to outstanding musicians and ensembles. The prize money of 50,000 euros was earmarked for the work of young musicians - in the sense of Herbert von Karajan, who had been committed to promoting talent throughout his life.
