Reviews

Radio Klassik-Magazin , 2001: “After the concert you didn't even know whether you wanted to hear Anne-Sophie Mutter again or Sol Gabetta with Schubert's A minor Sonata D 821. You rarely meet musicians like 20-year-old Sol. She played her program [...] with great dedication and brilliant technique. "

Res Musica , 2005: "You don't hesitate to compare them with the big ones."

Crescendo Magazine , 2008: "Not only does she have brilliant technique, she makes the warm tone of her cello sing."

Badische Zeitung , June 15, 2009: “The cellist creates the soft arcs in the Adagio movement with great devotion, lots of warmth and romanticism, and unfolds the velvety, silky tone of her precious Guadagnini cello. This is intimate, flowing cello singing, before it goes into the final Allegro with a nimble-fingered virtuosity in the fingering and bowing technique and with a violent gesture: a hotly pulsed Haydn, light-footed and passionate at the same time, as corresponds to the temperament and mercury charm of this cellist. That was explosive to Haydn. "
