Hermann Bruhn (actor)

Hermann Bruhn (born December 28, 1928 in Kiel ) is a German brewery businessman, Low German actor and author .

Life

Bruhn is the son of a freight forwarder whose cradle was in Kiel's old town. During the difficult war years he attended elementary and secondary school in the bombed naval city. After the Second World War he did an apprenticeship as a wholesaler in the luxury food industry, attended the higher commercial school in Kiel from 1948 and then worked for Schleswig-Holstein for 35 years as a brewery businessman, 25 of which as a PR department manager.

From school onwards, Bruhn's theater was a great passion. In 1952 he became a member of the Low German Stage in Kiel and an all-player, depending on age, from a young lover to an old grandfather. He played 122 roles, directed 26 times and participated in recordings for Platt in III on NDR television . He was also successful as a writer . He wrote plays , some with music, radio plays for the NDR and books in Low German about Kiel and Schleswig-Holstein.

Hermann Bruhn lives in Kronshagen .
