Hermann Finelius

Hermann Finelius (born January 29, 1819 in Greifswald , † September 3, 1849 in Langenfelde ) was a German poet doctor .

Hermann Karl Friedrich Finelius was a son of the adjunct and later Greifswald professor Johann Christian Friedrich Finelius and his wife Anna Maria Wilhelmina Louisa Ziemssen (* 1782). He studied medicine in Greifswald , received his doctorate there in 1842, but died early after years of suffering. He wrote poems that were posthumously edited by friends.
