Hermann Fitting (politician)

Johann Hermann Fitting , also Herrmann Fitting (born January 26, 1765 in Mauchenheim ; † January 22, 1847 ibid) was a German landowner and politician .

Life

Hermann Fitting was a landowner who in 1794 became the last " Churpfälzischer Schultheiss " in Mauchenheim. In the period from 1819 to 1834 he represented the constituency of the Rhine District in the Chamber of Deputies in the Bavarian Parliament. During this time he was counted from 1831 to 1834 to the moderate opposition . In 1818 he was also a member of the jury in Zweibrücken .

Hermann Fitting was married to Catharina (née Matheus) († August 9, 1863). The names of their children are known:

  • Hermann Fitting, Honorary Councilor at the Zweibrücken Court of Appeal ; married to Antoinette Bernhardine Louise Julie (born June 2, 1805 in Zweibrücken), daughter of the appellate judge Johann August Petri;
  • Friederika Louisa Fitting, married to Friedrich Viktor Dercum (born May 15, 1796 in Blieskastel , † September 23 or 25, 1871 in Kirchheimbolanden ), pharmacist ;
  • Johannes Fitting , landowner and politician.
