Hermann Josef Busch

Hermann Josef Busch (born February 20, 1943 in Monheim am Rhein , † December 28, 2010 in Siegen ) was a German musicologist and university professor.

Busch studied musicology , church music , school music , history and psychology in Mainz and Münster . Until 2008 he taught as a professor of musicology at the University of Siegen . He had other teaching assignments at the music academies in Cologne , Detmold and Mainz . From 1973 to 1993 he was editor-in-chief of Ars Organi .
