Hermann König (dentist)

Hermann Paul Alexander König (born April 12, 1925 in Augsburg ; † October 17, 2012 there ) was a German dentist.

Career

After his license to practice medicine in 1948 and his doctorate in 1949, König had been practicing dentistry in his native Augsburg since 1951. In 1962 he was elected to the board of the Dental District Association of Swabia, to which he belonged until 1994. From 1962 to 1977 he headed the international training seminars of the German Dental Association in Merano. From 1962 to 1967 King served as an honorary judge at the Regional Court of Professional Conduct, the Financial Court of Munich and the professional judgment of the Higher Regional Court of Munich operates. Since 1969 he has been a member of the Representative Assembly of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Dentists of Bavaria (KZVB) and since 1974 of the General Assembly of the Bavarian State Dental Association (BLZK).

In 1982 he was initially vice-president of the Bavarian State Dental Association and was elected chairman of the Bavarian State Dental Health Association in 1984. In the same year he succeeded Erich Pillwein as President of the Bavarian State Dental Association. He stayed in office until 1990. He was succeeded by Joseph Kastenbauer after.
