Hermann Schröter

Hermann Schröter (born July 7, 1872 in Matzdorf , district of Löwenberg in Silesia , † June 27, 1954 in Freienohl ) was a German politician ( DNVP ).

After visiting the elementary school learned Schröter the agricultural craft . He settled down as a farmer in Karlsthal, where he became a member of the local council before the First World War . At the municipal and regional level, he also distinguished himself as a member of the Silesian Land Association and honorary board member of the Löwenberg Business and Employers Association and as a justice of the peace .

After the First World War, from which he returned home as a war disabled, Schröter joined the German National People's Party (DNVP), for which he was a member of the Reichstag for four legislative periods from June 1920 to September 1930 for constituency 9 or (after renumbering the Constituencies) belonged to constituency 8 ( Liegnitz ).
