Hermann Seldeneck

Hermann Seldeneck (born September 13, 1864 in Munich , † April 1922 ) was a German actor .

Life

The great-great-nephew of Alexander von Humboldt first appeared in Regensburg in 1882 in the role of a youthful lover and nature boy, later also as a youthful hero. Further stage stations were Augsburg (1883/84), Basel (1884/85) and Magdeburg (1885/86).

Seldeneck was then on stage in Saint Petersburg and Moscow . In 1889 he came to Hanover and in 1899 to Berlin . Here he became a member of Emma Spring Ensemble, later he was on various Berlin stages.

From 1909 he was a film actor, where he embodied bossy older men, authorities and people of respect. In 1919 he finished his film work and played until 1921 at the Wallner Theater in Berlin.
