Hermann von Somnitz
Hermann von Somnitz (born May 31, 1857 on the manor Goddentow near Lauenburg in Pomerania ; † May 13, 1925 there ) was a German administrative officer and manor owner.
Life
Hermann von Somnitz studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1876 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service and became a government assessor with the government in Kassel . In 1889 he was initially appointed provisional and in 1890 he was finally appointed district administrator of the Anklam district. At the beginning of 1894 he was employed as a district administrator in the district of Lauenburg i. Pom. offset. There he remained in office until 1907. He then lived on his manor in Goddentow near Lauenburg until his death in 1925.
