Rudolph von Oertzen

Karl Friedrich Wilhelm Leopold Rudolph von Oertzen (born October 28, 1819 in Brunn , † April 27, 1893 in Anklam ) was a Prussian district administrator in the district of Anklam (1853-1889) in the province of Pomerania and a privy councilor. He was also the master of Pamitz (Stralsund district).

Life

Rudolph came from the Mecklenburg noble family Oertzen . His parents were Carl von Oertzen (1788–1837) and his wife Wilhelmine, born von Dewitz (1792–1875).

Oertzen married on April 13, 1849 in Boddin near Gnoien Lilla von Lützow (1822–1866), a daughter of State Minister Ludwig von Lützow . The couple had several children:

  • Karl (* 1852), Prussian lieutenant colonel ⚭ 1875 Emilie von Puttkamer (* 1852)
  • Gustav (1853–1927), Prussian infantry general
  • Friedrich (* 1855), Prussian captain ⚭ 1883 Karoline Countess of Schwerin (* 1862)

After the death of his first wife, he married Mathilde von der Dollen (* 1845) on September 16, 1873 . The couple had several children:

  • Rudolf (* 1874), Prussian lieutenant colonel ⚭ 1899 Elsa Mahn (* 1879)
  • Detwig (* 1876), pastor and missionary in Persia
