Friedrich Georg Ludwig von Borcke

Friedrich Georg Ludwig von Borcke (born January 10, 1747 in Stargard in Pomerania , † February 17, 1813 in Krienke ) was the Prussian district administrator of the Anklam district .

Life

Friedrich Georg Ludwig came from the Pomeranian noble family von Borcke . His father was Erdmann Curt von Borcke (1716–1788), heir to Altwigshagen , Heinrichshof , Annenhof and Curtshagen, his mother was Marie Sophie von Wedel (1718–1788).

He initially embarked on a military career in a hussar regiment of the Prussian Army and achieved the rank of lieutenant. He fought during the last three years of the Seven Years' War . At times he was in captivity.

After he left, he succeeded the retired District Administrator Adolph Friedrich von Neetzow around 1784 . During his eight-year tenure, he had his seat in Heinrichshof. In 1792 he asked to leave for health reasons. Upon his dismissal, he was given the title of Country Director.

Friedrich Georg Ludwig von Borcke was married to Louise Marianne von Hohendorf (1746–1786) for the first time from 1776 and was married to Christine Auguste von Volckmann (1760–1813) for the second time. He had several sons.

He belonged to the Freemasons since 1779 .
