August von Parsenow

August von Parsenow (* 1714 , † 1765 ) was the district administrator of the Anklam District in Pomerania .

Life

August von Parsenow came from the noble family von Parsenow . His father Philipp Erdmann von Parsenow (1658–1752) was a district administrator and regional director in Western Pomerania. His mother was Magdalene Sophie von Grabow . His brother Otto Hans Carl von Parsenow (1710–1761) was chamber director in Minden.

August von Parsenow studied law from September 1729 at the University of Jena and from September 1731 at the University of Halle . Around 1739 he became district administrator of the Anklamschen district.

He owned the Tutow, Zemmin, Klein Toitin and Wittenwerder estates. While the value of these goods at his death was 39,600 thalers, debts of 54,215 thalers had accrued at the same time.

August von Parsenow was married to Dorothea Esther Elisabeth von Glasenapp . Her children included:

  • Magdalena Sophie (* 1747), married to Heinrich Gottlieb von Kannewurff (1726–1799), later Prussian Minister of War
  • Philipp von Parsenow (* around 1751), lieutenant
  • Carl Friedrich August von Parsenow (around 1753–1772)
  • August Heinrich Rudolf von Parsenow (around 1754–1772)
  • Franz Friedrich Carl von Parsenow (1763–1793), District Administrator of the Anklam District.
