Hermine Aichenegg (born April 3, 1915 in Vienna ; † September 14, 2007 there ) was an Austrian freelance artist .

Life

Hermine Aichenegg came from a Viennese family and studied commercial graphics from 1930 to 1933 at the graphic teaching and research institute in Vienna. In the following years until 1939 she worked as a commercial artist in an advertising agency. Compulsory for military service, she had to work as a draftsman at the Military Geography Institute (main surveying) until 1945. From 1945 to 1949 she completed an apprenticeship with Rudolf Holzinger (1898–1949) ( fresco , secco , sgraffito , mosaic ). From 1949 Hermine Aichenegg worked as a freelance artist.
