Hermione Mospointner

Hermine Mospointner (born December 17, 1952 in Jois ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and was district head of the 10th Viennese district of Favoriten from 1994–2017 .

Life

Hermine Mospointner worked in the private sector until 1980 and joined the City of Vienna in 1984 ( MA 42 Stadtgartenamt). Since 1995 she has been president of the Favoriten Kulturverband.

Hermine Mospointner began her political career as a section employee in Favoriten and was subsequently deputy section head of the SPÖ district organization. She has been the section chairman and deputy chairwoman of the SPÖ women in the district since 1985 and was a district councilor between 1987 and 1989. In 1989 she rose to be a member of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council . In 1994 she resigned from her state parliament mandate and was elected district head of Favoriten on December 5, 1994 . At the end of September 2017, she retired, followed by Marcus Franz (SPÖ) as district chairman.

Hermine Mospointner has two sons.
