The list of the District Director of favorites lead in chronological order, the district director of the founding of the 10th Viennese municipal district Favorites 1874 to the present.

According to the municipal code of 1850, the district council was an executive body of the municipality of Vienna, which had to support the mayor with regard to the independent sphere of activity of the district. The district board was elected from among the ranks of the district committee. During the period of the First Republic between 1919 and 1934 the district head was elected, during the corporate state he was appointed from 1934 to 1938. During the National Socialist period between 1938 and 1945, the district representation was dissolved and its tasks were largely carried out by the National Socialist local group and district leadership . In April 1945 the Soviet occupying power appointed a district mayor or confirmed his self-appointment. On the basis of the Vienna Constitutional Transition Act of July 24, 1945, the district mayors were deposed and the mayor of Vienna appointed district heads and two deputies each. After democratic elections, the district leaders have been appointed by the strongest party in the district since 1946.
