Josef Bauer (politician, 1831)
Josef Bauer (born March 22, 1831 in Neuhaus , Bohemia , † December 10, 1894 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician and district chairman of the 10th Viennese district of Favoriten .
Josef Bauer was a mechanical engineer by profession. He married in Vienna in 1856 and lived on Keplergasse . In 1881 the 2nd electoral body of the 10th district sent Josef Bauer to the municipal council , where he was a member of the gas commission, the school section and the construction section. However, he did not appear as a speaker in the plenary session of the local council. From 1888 to 1890 and then again from 1892 to 1894, the Liberal was district chairman of Favoriten. Bauer died of liver cancer during his tenure.
