Hervé Germain Tum (born February 15, 1979 in Yaoundé ) is a Cameroonian football player who was last under contract with the Turkish first division club Göztepe Izmir in 2013 . Since then he has not been listed as a player at any club.

Player career

society

Tum is right-footed, 1.83 m tall and plays in the position of the striker. He moved in 2008 a free transfer from Racing Strasbourg to Sivasspor . Here he quickly established himself as a regular player and scored ten goals in 31 league matches.

In the summer of 2009, Sivasspor brought from Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor the player Erman Kılıç and gave in addition to a transfer fee also his two players Hervé Tum and Kanfory Sylla to Istanbul BB. At his new place of work, Tum played mainly as a regular player.

After Istanbul BB he moved to Gençlerbirliği Ankara for the 2011/12 season on a free transfer , where he fought for a regular place after initial difficulties. He later became the club's best scorer with 15 goals and second in the list of goalscorers for the 2011/12 Süper League season . In the summer of 2012, his one-year contract with Gençlerbirliği expired. After he did not come to an agreement with Gençlerbirliği because of different salary expectations, he announced his departure from the capital city.

He then came to an agreement a little later with the newly promoted Elazığspor . The decisive factor for this change was the coach Bülent Uygun, with whom Tum already worked at Sivasspor . After Uygun resigned from his position in the first half of the season and his successor Yılmaz Vural only occasionally used, Tum Elazığspor left for the winter break.

Towards the end of the winter transfer period 2012/13 Tum moved to the second division Göztepe Izmir .

National team

Between 2004 and 2009, Tum appeared for the Cameroon national soccer team six times .
