Heuscheune is a group of houses in southern Upper Lusatia and a district of the city of Herrnhut in the Saxon district of Görlitz . After the incorporation into Großhennersdorf , the place was incorporated into Herrnhut in 2011 together with Euldorf , Schönbrunn and Großhennersdorf.
location
The settlement is in the district of Großhennersdorf, about two kilometers east of the main town and two kilometers south of Neundorf auf dem Eigen . The Güterbach and a source arm of the Erlichbach flow west along the chain of houses.
history
The Vorwerk was probably built at the turn of the 15th to the 16th century as a result of the peasant laying , the first documentary mention was made in 1591. The Vorwerk had at times the rank of a manor , but was always closely connected to the Großhennersdorfer Gut. Heuscheune was owned by the von Gersdorf family for a long time, and it was not until 1844 that the village became the property of the Moravian Brothers Unity . At the beginning of the 20th century, Heuscheune was incorporated into Großhennersdorf and formed part of the community. After Großhennersdorf was incorporated into Herrnhut on January 1, 2011, Heuscheune became part of the city.
Before the First World War, a foal station was set up here, which today serves as a riding and boarding stables.
