Euldorf is a district of the country town of Herrnhut in the Saxon district of Görlitz in Upper Lusatia .

The district is located 2 km southeast of Herrnhut and consists of only a few houses and farms. The largest property is the Eulkretscham, built in 1827 on the K8610. The Eulmühle , located just before the confluence of the Erlichbach in the Petersbach on the latter, was demolished in 2012, with the exception of the entrance portal and the sawmill.

Euldorf was created with six gardening positions around the watermill on the Petersbach . The "Halbdörfel an den Wiesen" was mentioned for the first time in 1481, another mention dates from the 16th century and speaks of the "well-built stone owl-Möhle".

Around the Vorwerk Euldorf of the manor Großhennersdorf a group of houses was built in the hallway of Großhennersdorf in the 19th century. The population of this group of houses was less than 100.

The Eulmühle served as a flour mill , but the mill technology was dismantled during the Second World War . The sawmill, which was driven by a second mill wheel, was in operation until 1990. Of the Eulmühle, only the portal of the main building and the sawmill remained after the demolition in 2012 as a technical monument owned by the city of Herrnhut. However, due to the location in the storage area of ​​the Rennersdorf / OL flood retention basin , it should be left to its own devices and thus abandoned, as the test damming in February 2017 showed.

The community of Großhennersdorf was incorporated into Herrnhut on January 1, 2011, making Euldorf a part of the city.
