Highland Village is a city in Denton County in the US state of Texas in the United States .

The city is located in northeast Texas on Lake Lewisville , 33 km northwest of Dallas , in the south of the county, is approximately 80 km north of Oklahoma and has a total area of ​​16.6 km², of which 2.3 km² is water.
