The Hinter dem Bahnhof district is in the immediate vicinity of Freiberg train station. It is bounded in the west by "Olbernhauer Straße" ( Bundesstraße 101 ), in the north by the tracks of the train station and the so-called Ladestraße and in the east by "Käthe-Kollwitz-Straße".

Territory structure

The Hinter dem Bahnhof district is a classic suburban mixed district. It is located directly behind the tracks of the Dresden-Werdau railway line and is demarcated to the south by the Seilerberg . In addition to many single and smaller multi-family houses, most of which have their own garden, there is also industry and a few businesses, especially along Zuger Straße. A well-known company based here is Freiberger Porzellan GmbH. The permanently manned station of the volunteer fire brigade "Moritz Braun" Freiberg is located in this area.
