Hiram Percy Maxim
Hiram Percy Maxim (born September 2, 1869 in Brooklyn , New York , † February 17, 1936 in La Junta , Colorado ) was an American inventor.
The son of Hiram Maxim , the inventor of the machine gun , became known as the inventor of the silencer and as the founder of the amateur radio organization American Radio Relay League .
Hiram Percy Maxim was married to the daughter of the politician William Thomas Hamilton and had two children. He was buried in Hagerstown, Maryland .
