Holy Trinity (Kützbrunn)
The Roman Catholic parish church of the Holy Trinity ( lat.Ad sanctissimam Trinitatem ) in Kützbrunn , a district of Grünsfeld in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg , was built in 1717.
history
In 1717 the Gerlachsheim wine merchant Peter Johann Buchler donated the Kützbrunn Trinity Church. Construction was completed in 1735. In 1956 a tower was built. The choir was renewed between 1977 and 1979. The Kützbrunn Church received its pulpit in 1788 as a gift from the Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche in Gerlachsheim, after the latter bought a new, third pulpit. This is the second Gerlachsheim pulpit, which was assigned to the Kützbrunn branch at that time.
In 1824, the Kützbrunn church was assigned to rooms as a branch of the parish of St. Margaretha. In 1864 Kützbrunn got its own parish.
In 1956 the Dreifaltigkeitskirche received a new steeple and in 1957 four new bells were consecrated. In 1959 the church was extended by seven meters. In addition, this year the church received a new roof, a new ceiling and floor slab, new altars and pews as well as a renovated pulpit.
In 1977 the choir of the Kützbrunn church was redesigned. In 2003, the pastoral care unit in Messelhausen was founded with a cooperation agreement between the parishes of Deubach, Kützbrunn, Messelhausen, Oberbalbach, Unterbalbach and Vilchband. A year later, an extensive interior renovation of the church took place. In 2010 the roof of the church was re-covered.
Today the Dreifaltigkeitskirche is a branch church of the parish St. Peter and Paul in Grünsfeld and belongs to the pastoral care unit Grünsfeld-Wittighausen , which is assigned to the deanery Tauberbischofsheim of the Archdiocese of Freiburg .
