Hlawani ( Ukrainian Главані ; Russian Главаны Glawany , Romanian Glăvani ) is a village in the Ukrainian Odessa Oblast with about 2500 inhabitants (2001) and an area of 2.96 km².
The village, founded by Bulgarians in 1830 , is the only place in the 69.89 km² district council of the same name in the southwest of Arzys Rajon .
The village is 34 m above sea level on the banks of the Alijaha ( Аліяга ), a 65 km long tributary of the 60 km² large Kytaj Lake ( Китай ), 25 km southwest of the district center of Arzys and 162 km southwest of the oblast center of Odessa .
The T-16-08 territorial road runs through the village . It has a train station on the Arzys – Ismajil railway line .
