Ho is a settlement in the Danish municipality of Varde on the west coast of Jutland . In the village with around 85 inhabitants, many houses and farms have been preserved in their original state. Ho is also known as the “Gate to Skallingen ”.
The Skallingen peninsula and the Hallig Langli belonged to the former municipality of Ho. With the municipal reform in 1970, the municipality became part of the Blåvandshuk municipality , which became part of the Varde municipality with the administrative reform in 2007 .
The traditional sheep market takes place every year on the last weekend in August. On the festival hundreds of merchants offer their wares.
The neighboring town of Blåvand is about seven kilometers away, Oksbøl eleven kilometers and the port town of Esbjerg 32 kilometers.
