Hochdipoltsberg is a group in the municipality of Diersbach in Upper Austria ( Schärding district ). The village was inhabited by 30 people in 1981 and is part of the Bartenberg district .

geography

Hochdipoltsberg is a group of the Diersbach community, which is located around five kilometers east-northeast of the center of Diersbach in the eastern part of the community area. Hochdipoltsberg is part of the Angsüss cadastral community and is located on a hill. The district is surrounded by forest in the north and south, in the west a road leads to the district Hochegg , in the east one leads to the village of Dürnberg . Other neighboring towns are Bartenberg in the north and Mitterndorf in the west. Hochdipoltsberg can be reached from the center of Diersbach via the Diersbacher Bezirksstraße (L 1170) and then via a local road. Other state roads in the immediate vicinity of the village are the Sighartinger Bezirksstrasse (L 1139) that runs past to the east and the Enzenkirchener Bezirksstrasse (L 1135) that runs to the south-east.

History and population

Hochdiepoltsberg did not come into being as part of Bartenberg until the second half of the 19th century, when several colonists settled in the former area of ​​the Maiergut. Bartenberg was parish in 1960 to the parish of Kopfing.

Hochdipoltsberg was counted for a long time by the statisticians at Bartenberg and only occasionally indicated as a separate district. In 1923, the Hochdipoltsberg group comprised eight houses and 54 residents. In 1951 Hochdipoltsberg had eight buildings with 39 inhabitants, in 1971 the place had nine houses and 44 inhabitants. In 1981 Hochdipoltsberg still had nine buildings with 30 residents.
