Hochfeld is a district of Flensburg , which lies south of Sünderup and Kattloch and was assigned to the Tarup district by the city administration .

history

On March 24, 1974, the Hochfeld, which had been used as an agricultural area up until then, was incorporated together with Sünderup. In 2005, a development plan was finally drawn up for the high field. The development of the high field with individual houses apparently began around 2007/08 . The semi-circular scale residential been here by a newly created main street opened, the name Emmy Ball Henning Road received. All streets in this area were given names of important women with reference to Flensburg. The most prominent street name was after Beate Uhse in the form of Beate-Rotermund-Straße . In the period before 2009, Hochfeld was still accessible via the ring road to the south . In 2009/10 Hochfeld was connected to the Hochfelder Landstrasse , which is part of Kreisstrasse 8 (K8) and is connected to the east bypass and thus to the city. At the same time, a new connection to the northern ring road was realized. The southern ring road was later permanently closed. Little by little, families moved into their newly built homes in the new district.

In 2010/2011 a few more semi-detached houses in Emmi-Leisner-Strasse and Beate-Rotermund-Strasse were set up for four apartments rather than two. These four-family houses were then rented out. In 2012, some remaining plots of land in the district were finally sold and then built on. At that time, however, Hochfeld had already largely completed the development of Hochfeld. A takeover of an area east of Hochfeld by the municipality of Tastrup in 2007 only indirectly affected the new Hochfeld residential area. The area was initially required for the aforementioned K8. After Hochfeld had been built on, a southern extension of Tarup was built in the immediate vicinity.

The young district received several playgrounds with its facility. For example, the playground on Maria-Christina-Lorck-Straße was planned around 2013. On an area north of Hochfeld, south of Sünderup and west of Kattloch , a daycare center was also built in 2012/13 . In the same area, a local supply area for Hochfeld and the neighboring urban areas has been built since 2017, which is to consist of a Rewe supermarket , a Penny discounter , a drugstore of the Rossmann chain and a Cigo shop with a post office. Beyond the road connection achieved and the rest of the infrastructure that has been gradually built up, no direct bus line to Hochfeld has yet been implemented. The next bus line that can be reached is line 5, which goes to Sünderup.
