The ring road had before the construction of ring road east part of the function of today's tangent. Today the southern ring road is closed, so the ring is interrupted. Fairground Fairground
|
The name of the corridor has been used since 1913. The fairground leads from Toosbüystraße , with numerous branches in between, to Schlossstraße . The corridor does not lead to a fairground , as one might expect . The word "hustle and bustle" means a "mess", so that the corridor may mean "messy path". Another assumption with regard to the naming is based on "truant students" who, with their behavior, spread, so to speak, unnecessary hype and still spread it now and then. The two schools at the fairground ( Schloss-Duburg-Schule and Duborg-Skolen ) did not come into existence until after 1913, i.e. at a time when the name “fairground” was already in use. - The amusement park below the castle wall, on the slope, now forms an undeveloped green strip with a green area of around 3,500 m². |
