Hoda Hagras (born May 11, 1995 ) is an Egyptian high jumper and heptathlete .

Athletic career

Hoda Hagras gained her first international experience at the 2015 Arab Championships in Manama , where she won the gold medal with 5404 points. She then took part in the Africa Games in Brazzaville for the first time , where she finished fifth in the heptathlon with 5407 points and was sixth in the high jump with 1.75 m. In the following year, she won the silver medal in the 100-meter hurdles at the U23 Mediterranean Games in Tunis in 14.40 s and was eighth in the long jump with 5.66 m. At the African Championships in Durban , she reached fourth place with a new national record of 5555 points. Two years later she won the silver medal behind Swasi Erika Nonhlanhla Seyama at the African Championships in Asaba with 1.80 m and could not finish her heptathlon . In 2019 she won the silver medal at the Arab Championships in Cairo with 5215 points, as well as with the Egyptian 4 x 100 meter relay in 46.85 seconds. In addition, she was fourth in the hurdles sprint in 14.92 s. At the end of August, she again took part in the African Games in Rabat , where she was fourth in the heptathlon with 5272 points and 13th in the high jump with a jump of 1.70 m.

In 2018, Hagras became the Egyptian high jump champion.
