The court court Dillenburg (from 1821 court and appeal court Dillenburg ) was a court of the second instance in the Duchy of Nassau with seat in Dillenburg .

The reorganization of the court system by the administrative edict of 9 and 11 September 1815 - the two data result from the fact that the edict on 9 in the Biebrich residence of Duke Friedrich August and 11 in Weilburg by Prince Friedrich Wilhelm signed is - led to the establishment of a court court in Dillenburg. The Court of First Instance was the court of first instance for certain privileged classes. This included the gentlemen, civil servants and others. The court court was also not responsible for military jurisdiction.

After the annexation of the Duchy of Nassau by Prussia in 1866, the jurisdiction of the Dillenburg office was transferred to the Dillenburg District Court in the first instance . The court and appeal court of Dillenburg was converted into the royal Prussian district court of Dillenburg and was later absorbed by the Limburg regional court .
