Office of Burbach
The Burbach office was an office in the Siegen district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It administered until December 31, 1968 an area with 15 independent municipalities .
history
The office was created in 1843 from the "Mayor's Office Burbach" formed in 1816. Until 1844, the mayor's office or office only comprised the municipalities of today's municipality of Burbach, which are located in Freie Grund . Then that was official Neunkirchen dissolved and the places including the today Wilnsdorf belonging savages and the Office Dressel village to which the Hicke Grunder communities were incorporated. In 1895 Wilden came to the Wilnsdorf office . In the 1960s, the Neunkirchen communities resisted a planned large community of Burbach and achieved a split into the current communities of Burbach and Neunkirchen. This came into force on January 1, 1969.
On December 1, 1885, the Burbach office had an area of 125.7 km², on which 11,068 inhabitants lived.
