Wilnsdorf Office
The Wilnsdorf office was an office in the Siegen district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It administered until December 31, 1968 an area with seven independent municipalities .
history
In 1807 Rinsdorf was allocated to Wilnsdorf by the still existing "Mairie Siegen". In 1815/16 the "Mayor's Office Wilnsdorf" was established under Prussian administration, and in 1843 it was renamed "Amt Wilnsdorf". Until 1895 Wilden belonged to the Burbach office . On July 1, 1966, Eisern was incorporated into the new town of Eiserfeld . On January 1, 1969, the Wilnsdorf office was dissolved and the new large municipality of Wilnsdorf was formed from the municipalities and the places Anzhausen , Flammersbach , Gernsdorf and Rudersdorf from the Netphen office .
On December 1, 1885, the Wilnsdorf office had an area of 47.4 km², on which 4127 inhabitants lived. By 1967 this number rose to 10,953 inhabitants, but since 1966 without iron.
In 1897 the office building was built on Hagener Strasse in Wilnsdorf. In 1981 the building was demolished. After the First World War , the Wilnsdorf Office collected 17,284 marks for war invalids and survivors in the office until 1919. In 1930 the Siegen district council refused to merge the offices of Wilnsdorf and Eiserfeld into one office. Thus the Eiserfeld office remained the smallest in the circle. On August 17, 1937, the office got its own coat of arms. In the same year it became debt free again.
