School and free time

In the SV Anzhausen / Flammersbach sports club, table tennis , athletics , aerobics , etc. are offered in addition to football . Anzhausen has a sports field, a gym and a riding stable. There was a primary school until 2015. The place has a kindergarten and day care. Like Flammersbach, Anzhausen belongs to the Evangelical Church Community of Rödgen-Wilnsdorf.

The Antonius Chapel used to be a simultaneous church , today it serves as a sermon site for the Protestant parish of Rödgen-Wilnsdorf. In 1738 the Catholic and Protestant chapel congregations formed in this way built the building, also known as the church, together. In this, too, the image of St. Anthony found its place; This is also the case with the high altar made of oak, which, contrary to an agreement at the time, had taken the place in the previous building. The altar table was not a reason for a dispute shared by the religious communities, no pulpit and altar were the objects that found no place in the small church of Anzhausen, which was already at thirteen hundred a chapel in the parish of Netphen. In the middle of the 19th century the political community owned the house. It was renovated in 1956 by the reformed Rödgen.
