The oat grove between Anzhausen and Salchendorf in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Siegen-Wittgenstein is 503.6  m above sea level. NHN high elevation of the southern Siegener mountain region .

The oat grove rises in the areas of the municipality of Wilnsdorf and the city of Netphen . Its summit is located 1.3 kilometers (km as the crow flies ) south of Deuz and 1.8 km west of Salchendorf , two districts of Netphener, and 1.8 km northeast of Anzhausen , a district of Wilnsdorf, on the border of this area . The districts Salchendorf and Anzhausen together have the largest share of the mountain; It's about 270 m to the northwest to the closest point in the Deuz district. On the southern slopes of oats grove springing White influx Bösselbach , on its southwest slope of the White inflow Flammersbach , and at its southeast slope of Werthenbach influx Torrbach .

Parts of the landscape protection area Netphen are located on the survey (CDDA no. 555558489; designated 1985; 117.4529  km² in size).

Natural allocation

The oat grove heard in the natural environment feature unit group Süderbergland (no. 33) in the main unit Siegerlandhalle (331) and in the sub unit North Siegerländer mountains to the natural space (331.0) Southern Siegener mountains (331.04). Its landscape falls to the northeast into the subunit Siegerland Rothaar Vorhöhen ( Siegquellbergland ; 331.2).

Traffic and walking

An extensive network of paths leads across the oat grove. Passing northwest over the Deuzer Höhe ( 381.6  m ), the state road  719 between Deuz and Feuersbach runs .
