Freudenberg Office
The Freudenberg office was an office in the Siegen district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The office administered until December 31, 1968 an area with 20 (22) independent municipalities .
history
In 1844 it emerged from the mayor's office in Freudenberg , which was established in 1815. Most of the communities were then incorporated into today's city of Freudenberg . The places Mittel- and Oberhees went to Kreuztal . Already on June 30, 1966, Langenholdinghausen and 1969 Meiswinkel went to the new town of Hüttental and Oberschelden to the newly founded town of Eiserfeld .
On December 1, 1885, the Freudenberg Office had an area of 69 km², on which 6287 inhabitants lived.
On December 31, 1968, the Freudenberg office was dissolved.
