Dirlenbach is a district of Freudenberg in Siegerland .

geography

Dirlenbach is located in the Bachtal of the same name, a tributary of the Fischbach , which in turn flows into the Asdorf . The place is at an altitude between 270 and 300  m above sea level. NN . Mountains in the area are the Wellersberg with 361.4  m height in the northwest or the Krögelsberg with 356.8  m height in the north or the Ziegenberg with 342.6  m height in the south.

Neighboring towns of Dirlenbach are Freudenberg and Oberheuslingen in the north, Oberfischbach in the east, Niederndorf and Niederfischbach ( Altenkirchen district ) in the south.

history

Dirlenbach was first mentioned in a document as "Derlebach" on February 24, 1342.

The place, until then an independent municipality in the Freudenberg office , was incorporated into Freudenberg on January 1, 1969 as part of the municipal territorial reform.

Dirlenbach is located on County Road 1. This leads from the country road west of Niederndorf through Niederndorf and bends there to the north in the direction of Dirlenbach. To the west of the village, the road meets the L 280, which is developed into a bypass road to the south, similar to the HTS .

There are two stops in Dirlenbach: Dirlenbach Ort and Dirlenbach Siedlung. The R40 bus runs every hour on weekdays and at the weekend to Freudenberg and Siegen.
