Niederndorf is a district of Freudenberg in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district , North Rhine-Westphalia .
geography
Niederndorf is located in the southern urban area of Freudenberg in a hilly low mountain range and borders on Rhineland-Palatinate (RLP). Neighboring towns are Oberfischbach , Dirlenbach and Niederfischbach (RLP). The highest point in Niederndorf is the gable forest at 528 m above sea level. NN . One of the streams that flow through the village, the Uebach, also rises there. In the village it then flows into the Fischbach. Around two thirds of the landscape around Freudenberg consists of deciduous and spruce forests .
history
Niederndorf was first mentioned in a document in 1423.
In 1984 the road construction in Niederndorf led to a change in the appearance of the village, when both the old mill and five houses had to give way. Niederndorf was incorporated into Freudenberg on January 1, 1969 .

Niederndorf was the location of the Free Christian Secondary School (FCS) Siegen . Since July 2010, only the secondary school has been housed in the school building in Niederndorf . The secondary school is now located in the Kaan-Marienborn district of Siegen .
