Bühl is a district of Freudenberg in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district in North Rhine-Westphalia with around 380 inhabitants.

geography

Bühl lies in the upper end of the Alche valley at an altitude of between 340 and 400  m above sea level. NN . Mountains in the area are the Allenfelds Kopf with 410.1  m high in the south, Ischeroth with 466.6  m high in the west. In the north, the place borders almost on the Büschergrund part of Anschlag .

Neighboring towns of Bühl are Hünsborn in the north, Oberholzklau in the northeast, Niederholzklau in the east, Alchen in the southeast and Büschergrund in the west.

history

Bühl was first mentioned in a document in 1461.

In the course of the municipal territorial reform, the Freudenberg Office was dissolved on January 1, 1969, and Bühl became part of the newly formed town of Freudenberg.

Infrastructure and transport links

Bühl is located on the east of Landstrasse 908, which connects Büschergrund with Oberholzklau. In the village, the district road 6 branches off to Alchen. The next driveway to Autobahn 45 is “Freudenberg”, only about one kilometer away. The next industrial area is on the motorway, only a few hundred meters from the town.
