history

Plittershagen was first mentioned in a document in 1342.

Until December 31, 1968, the place belonged to the Freudenberg office . Since January 1, 1969, when the second law for the reorganization of the Siegen district came into force, Plittershagen has been one of 17 districts of the city of Freudenberg.
