The Hofmark Brauerei KG is a medium-sized brewery that brews and bottles around 10,000 hl of beer annually . It is located in Loifling in the north of the municipality of Traitsching in the Upper Palatinate district of Cham and is one of the larger companies there.

history

In 1960, master brewer Paul C. Häring and his wife took over a brewery at Hofmarkstrasse 15 in Loifling . They introduce their own relief flip-top bottle , increase output and begin to export the beer, now known as “Hofmark” . In 2007 the “Hofmark” brand was carefully redesigned; and Hofmark beer is mainly bottled in swing-top bottles and kegs .

The historic inn "Zum Hofmark-Bräu" was reopened on March 15, 2008 with a Bavarian beer garden in the courtyard of the Loifling moated castle after many years and has been managed by the brewery itself ever since.

Today Hofmark is not only a brewery, but also a service provider. Swing top bottles are filled for other breweries, including the Hacklberg brewery in Passau and the Innstadt brand.
