The Hofreite at Darmstädter Straße 5 is a listed half-timbered house in Darmstadt-Arheilgen in Hesse from the early 18th century .
History and description
The intact Franconian Hofreite was built in 1701. The two-storey, gable-free half-timbered house has a beaver-tail-covered half -hip roof . Noteworthy architectural details of the residential building are the ground floor in solid construction , the arrangement of the gable posts as a wild man and the carved corner posts . There is also a barn and outbuildings on the property .

Monument protection
Today the renovated half-timbered house is used as a residential building. For architectural and city history reasons, the building is a cultural monument .
