The Hohe Fürleg ( 2570  m above sea level ) is a summit in the eastern part of the Gleirsch-Halltal chain in the Karwendel in Tyrol . With the Walderkampspitze ( 2565  m above sea level ) located about 250 meters further east, the Hohe Fürleg forms a double peak .

The Hohe Fürleg is a steep rocky summit made of Wetterstein limestone, which slopes down to the south to the Inn valley and to the north to the Vomper Loch in steep cliffs. It is connected to the Großer Bettelwurf , 1200 meters further northwest, with a rocky ridge, the lowest point of which is the Fallbach-Scharte . The Walderkamp Tower rises in the ridge between the Hohen Fürleg and the Fallbach-Scharte . To the east the Hohe Fürleg sends out a ridge that leads over the Walderkampspitze, the Tratten and the wide Mannl- and Weibele-Scharte to the Hundskopf . The Bockkarl Tower is located north of the Walderkampspitze . The Fallbachkar is embedded to the west of the Hohen Fürleg .

The ascent of the Hohen Fürleg requires at least the second degree of the UIAA scale . The ascent from the east over the Tratten and the Walderkampspitze is in the range of this difficulty. The ascent over the southwest flank from the Fallbachkar is rated III by the Alpine Club Guide . Degree of difficulty indicated, the transition to the begging throws through the Fallbachkar with III-. The west ridge of the Fallbach-Scharte is given as IV. Climbing the Bockkarlturm also requires IV degree climbing.
